AFA-IN Week 6 Video

Micah Clark of American Family Association of Indiana shares his Legislative Update Week 6 Video.

Friday Statehouse Video Update #6

In today’s weekly video update I discuss three bills:

HB1122 adult business regulations which passed in the House with strong bipartisan support. The Senate needs to move this bill. Your support of it with your State Senator would be very helpful.

HB 1041 -The Fairness in Girls Sports Act had a hearing and should get a vote in the Senate Education Committee this coming Wednesday.

HB 1134 ( SB 17) concerns divisive school content such as critical race theory. Several school-friendly changes have been made to this bill, but many teachers groups are not acknowledging this fact. HB 1134 deserves to pass the Senate. (SB 17 shares some language with HB 1134 to keep pornography out of schools. It is before the House Education Committee.)
