Legislative Update

Halftime at the Statehouse

Week 5 –  Quick Friday Video Update from Micah Clark at American Family Association of Indiana.

We have reached a halfway point of sorts this first week of February.   All “live” bills must have passed their original chamber.  For example, any House or Senate bill you may have tracked on the Indiana General Assembly website that did not receive a committee hearing and a floor vote is “dead.”

When I discuss an Indiana House bill now, it is before the Senate awaiting a Senate committee hearing.  Any “live” Senate bill is now before the House.  You will want to contact your Senator about House bills now, and your Representative about Senate bills.

Thank you for reading our weekly emails on Wednesday and for viewing these Friday videos.  Here is our video for this week.
