Pastors’ Free Speech, Parental Rights? – American Family Association of Indiana

Friday Video 2/10/23

The legislative session of your Indiana General Assembly is moving quickly. I have three bills to share with you today. Two are moving past the committee stage to the full House and Senate. One is awaiting (in need of) a committee hearing, which is step one toward becoming law. Step two is floor amendments. Step three is a final vote. Then bills switch chambers and go through those stages again. This switch should occur somewhere around March 1.

The bills I mention today are SB 350 – free speech for pastors and counselors; HB 1407 – Parental Rights, and HB 1646 – child pornography.
