Quick Alert:
Help Needed on Important Bills

I will have more details on a few bills we are watching in my weekly email tomorrow.   Still, if you could contact your legislators today with a phone call or an email, it would be very helpful.

House Bill 1041 protects women’s sports.  This Fairness in Girls’ Sports Act simply states that a biological male cannot participate in competitive girls’ school sports.   Public polling strongly supports this, but left-wing voices in the media and LGBT activists’ noise at the statehouse often cloud reality.   (Several of them got unruly, threatening, and profane at the hearing yesterday.)

HB 1041 passed on to the House floor yesterday, but was amended unexpectedly in committee to no longer include collegiate sports.   As girls at the University of Pennsylvania can tell you after a man who swam on the men’s team for three years joined their team, this language needs to go back in the bill.

Call your State Representative in support of HB 1041 with a simple message like “please support HB 1041 and expand it to include college sports.”    You can do this at 317-232-9600.

Over on the Senate side, legislators should vote tomorrow in the Senate Education Committee on a bill to protect K12 school students from being exposed to pornographic material.  Senate Bill 17 simply removes two words from existing law that exempts schools from possible prosecution if a teacher or librarian gives a child age-restricted adult material.  However, librarian groups, teacher’s unions, and what I call the “education establishment” are being untruthful about this bill and firing up their members against it. (They are also doing this on HB 1134 the anti-CRT indoctrination bill in the House.)

Senate Bill 17 could also use your support.   You can call your State Senator at 317-232-9400.

You can also find and email your Representative and Senator here.
