ASHLEY HAMMAC is a candidate for State Representative, House District 16 (most of White, Jasper, Pulaski, and Starke counties) and resides in White County. Ashley has practiced as a soil scientist for about 25 years and is passionate about preserving farmland and soil quality. Ashley has worked in academia, government, non-profit, and corporate positions. Recently, Ashley transitioned careers and is working as a union carpenter, Lafayette UBC Local 215. Ashley dives into key topics important to Hoosier families and highlights three key concerns pertinent to HD 16. Those issues are: 1) strengthening local government by preserving their rights to determine projects in their counties; 2) creating agricultural-based jobs in HD 16 throughout the supply chain to produce not only animal food but locally-sourced human food all the while enhancing soil quality and preserving farm ground; 3) funding medical clinics and schools as both have done more with less for years. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about Ashley Hammac’s background, views, and vision for House District 16!
