JOHN P. SCHMITZ is the host of MOUTHWASH and a creator of missions to serve the community and the state. His years-long public service is explored as it relates to his passion to assist the underserved and overlooked populations and to engage in the political arena. John is unbridled in his recounts of the challenges and roadblocks of the last few years to serve his community and the public. The path to the repurposing of an abandoned building in Mars Hill to the Mars Hill Arts Center, a nonprofit, is described. The inception of the talk show, Mouthwash, is explained which led to the creation of the Chateau de Mars Hill Studios. He attended the Republican convention in June 2026 in Fort Wayne and details his experiences as an elected delegate. John articulated his support through testimony of a resolution to the Rules Committee to grant the elected delegates voting opportunities for amendments at the Republican convention for the corporation and platform. This is the end of Part 1. Stay tuned for Part 2 which will examine church hurt, the Church Pew Review, prison ministry, a program for prisoner re-entry into society, a movement to vote for the candidate with the least amount of money in campaign contributions, the book that he is writing, and Hoosier Godly Resources. You don’t want to miss John P. Schmitz unleashed and bold!
