Chaplain Pamela Russell Interview about her Faith-based Ministry
Pamela Russell from Marion County talks about her Christian service as a military wife, in prisons, in the community, and even at the Indiana statehouse! Serving with Public Servants’ Prayer, Pamela is the Women’s Chaplain at the Indiana Statehouse and has served there now for fifteen years. Pamela and her husband served in military chapels while her husband was active duty. Pamela was a chaplain to incarcerated women at the Howard County Jail and founded Almond Tree, the Biblical substance abuse counseling ministry. She also founded the Women’s Statehouse Day in Indiana. At the Community Bible Fellowship Church in Westfield, Pamela leads Iron 2 Iron Women’s Bible Study. She has authored 3 books: Beyond the Ballot; More Than Sobriety; and Addiction: A Family Affair. Chaplain Pamela Russell engages with all women from the incarcerated to the legislators. She is just as motivating as she is educational. Hoosier women (and men), you will leave this interview with renewed enthusiasm to serve the Lord!
