Kristi shares her start in the political arena by attending council meetings and learning about the political process through the Indiana Family Institute and the Hoosier Leadership Series. Kristi earned a county council seat in a contested race and explains the transition to this new role in local government and the necessity for civil discourse. Kristi describes several issues that the county council and the county are working through, i.e. budget, septic. Kristi is a faithful follower of Jesus and has challenged herself to memorize Romans 8. To conclude, Kristi challenges more Christians to run for political office or support Christians running for office.
